  • sister: oh, good idea! i was going to wear my khaki shorts, but brown shorts are a much better idea. i'll wear mine, too.
  • me: don't you think matching shorts is a little ridiculous? we're grownups, remember?
  • sister: no, they're a slightly different shade of brown. it will be fine. i'm definitely wearing them.
  • me: wonderful. so i can safely assume from now on that if i tell you what i will be wearing somewhere, you will decide to wear the same thing, and it will be up to ME to change unless i want to look like a pair of creepy overgown twins? thaaanks.
